Nordplus Nordic Languages
Nordplus Nordic Languages offers funding for projects that support collaboration around Nordic languages and Nordic minority languages.
For Nordic Language Courses, grants are awarded in the following categories:
- Course management and administration
- Travel and subsistence
- Extraordinary project activities
- Inclusion support
Course management and administration
Grants are based on actual costs, including:
- Facility rentals
- Instructor fees
- Registration
- Meetings
- Other related administration costs
Travel and subsistence
Grants apply to both course participants and staff involved in planning and coordination. Costs already funded by scholarships or other sources cannot be included. Travel and subsistence are based on unit costs and are automatically calculated in the application.
Travel unit costs per participant (round trip):

The unit cost for domestic travel is an addition to the unit costs for transnational travel. Grants for domestic travel can be applied for in the home country when the distance between the participating organisation’s address and the airport, train or bus station of international departure is more than 250 km. Domestic travel can also be applied for in the host country when the distance between the airport, train or bus station of arrival and the address of the hosting organisation is more than 250 km.

Extraordinary project activities
This category covers costs such as project management and salaries that are not addressed by other cost categories. Justification is required in the application.

Payments
Applications may receive full, partial, or no funding. All applicants are informed about the outcome and, if necessary, the reasons for partial or no funding.
Applications must include a budget that outlines the estimated total cost of all activities and a financing plan. Applicants are required to use the official budget template.
