Nordplus Adult addresses the field of adult learning with financial support to transnational mobility and project collaboration.
About the programme
The projects supported by the Nordplus Adult programme contribute to development and innovation within the Nordic and Baltic adult learning sector. All fields of adult education and learning are encompassed; general and vocational adult learning, formal, non-formal and informal adult education and learning.
Who can apply?
All types of institutions and organisations working with adult education and learning can participate in Nordplus Adult. The participating organisations and institutions must need the expected project results for their own adult education activities. All participating organisations must be able to contribute with experience and knowledge from adult learning and be interested in learning from other organisations and institutions in the field.
The target group of the programme is diverse and covers all kinds of institutions and organisations offering learning to adults. Examples of institutions and organisations that can apply to Nordplus Adult are formal adult education institutions, folk high schools, evening schools, language schools, third age universities, centers for special needs education for adults, libraries, museums, institutions offering andragogy studies, adult educator/mentor programmes and CVET activities, institutions working with research, studies and analyses in adult learning and NGOs, public and private enterprises directly engaged in adult education and learning.
Although Nordplus Adult is not limited to established educational institutions, the initiative must address education and learning directed at adult learners and/or adult education staff of the participating organisations.
