Follow-up and share the results

Follow-up and share results activities should be planned early in the project. The more people outside the project who become aware of your work and feel engaged, the greater the chance you have of achieving your goals and sharing your experiences with others.

You may also inspire more people to take part in international exchange and cooperation. A Nordplus partnership brings together people from different countries and cultures to exchange ideas and knowledge for future development. You become part of something larger.

Active involvement and commitment from management are crucial throughout the project, especially in the planning and handling of results. It is also beneficial if everyone in the organisation is involved in the preparation and dissemination activities as far as possible, even those who have not taken part directly.

Plan time and resources carefully. Time and money are often a challenge. To ensure the project moves in the right direction, you need to consider and plan the time and resources required for effective dissemination.

All organisations in the project should reflect on how best to reach out in their respective countries. Which target groups do you want to reach, which tools and channels will you use, and what effects do you expect? Describing your internal and external dissemination efforts is part of the application.

How you choose to disseminate your results depends entirely on what you wish to achieve and on the nature of the project. Do you want to reach more potential users or decision-makers? Consider which channels are most relevant for your target group. One option may be to reach out through the media. Write a press release or contact your local newspaper or a relevant trade journal to share information about your project and activities.

Share your results with colleagues. It is important that the knowledge and experience gained through the project are passed on internally. For example, you can present the project at staff meetings, conferences or other suitable events.
