Record number of applications in this year's application round
For the third consecutive year, the number of applications to Nordplus has increased. When the application period closed on 2 February, 634 applications had been received.
– It's great to see such keen interest in Nordplus, says Karin Ericson, main administrator for the Nordplus Junior sub-programme.
The increase in applications mainly concerns Nordplus Adult, Nordplus Junior and Nordplus Nordic Languages. For projects that have applied for funding under any of these sub-programmes, this means that competition may be a little tougher.
– We have a budget, and more applications naturally mean that more projects may be rejected. At the same time, increased competition often leads to higher quality in the projects that are awarded grants, which is a good thing, says Karin Ericson.
All applicants will be notified during the first week of May.
